In my blog I am displaying some of my grandfather's work. Most of his work is inspired from our heritage/culture Native American. (Cherokee) His other works are inspired from African art, African American music artists and Revolutionaries. Most of his pieces are inspired from our Native Amercan Culture. I personally have learned a lot about my culture than ever before, spirtually and culturally.

These are medicine wheels. Medicine wheels are spiritually and culturally sacred symbol in the Native American cutlture. They were designed on trays that were being thrown out of my the restaurant that my grandfather cooked at, the Jockey Club. On the trays are real feathers from birds and he used oil paint to design them. Created in 1993.
